The GUE Performance Diver Course is the latest entry-level course in GUE training. Newly certified divers now have a more accessible way to experience what GUE is all about, without compromising on standards and training quality.

Some divers feel that during their initial training, they need more time to focus on buoyancy, trim, and propulsion techniques. However, due to the short duration of many Open Water courses, it can be difficult to achieve the level of comfort in the water that allows you to control your position, relax, and fully enjoy the dive. This new course is designed to maximize your time in the water by incorporating an adaptive online learning system.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

The GUE Performance Diver Course is suitable for all divers who want to improve their basic diving skills. It also serves as an introduction to GUE training for divers who are already certified by another recognized diving organization.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

You will gain access to GUE’s online learning platform, which you can use before the practical part of the course. This adaptive learning system ensures that you focus on the topics you have not yet mastered. You can learn at your own pace until all participants have fully grasped the material. Time with your instructor will then be used for practical diving exercises.

You will learn the advantages of a standardized equipment configuration and procedural approach, and how a team-oriented mindset can be used to maximize safety, efficiency, and enjoyment. The course will help you build a solid diving foundation based on balance, trim, buoyancy, and propulsion techniques.

You will learn various propulsion techniques, including the back fin kick, and how to achieve stability, allowing you to dive confidently in all conditions. Mastering neutral buoyancy means you can stop and enjoy the underwater world without touching the bottom or drifting away.
