The Halcyon Defender Spool represents the advancement of a conventional Spool.
The size of the spool core was reduced. Thus, on the one hand, considerably more line fits on the spool while the size remains the same. On the other hand, the handling is improved because it is almost impossible for the fingers to get caught.
